FAQs

How much is shipping?
    • In the United States I offer discounted shipping. Orders under $200 are $1-8 shipping, orders over $200 receive free shipping. International orders are calculated based on weight.
  • Do you ship internationally?
    • Absolutely! I love that my art is appreciated in other countries!
  • There are no hats listed!
    • I paint them as quickly as I can. If there are no hats listed (or other products you're interested in) feel free to message me about them but know I'm working to restock as soon as possible. Also, make sure you follow me on Facebook as I post updates on there about product launches.
  • Can my hat get wet?
    • Yes! I use oil paint so they are naturally water resistant. No sealant necessary, a little water (or snow) won't hurt it! That being said, I do recommend being gentle with it so it lasts longer.
  • How do I wash my hat?
    • It can be wiped off with a damp rag, rinsed off, or even gently hand washed with a mild soap.
  • How do I clean my painting?
    • All of my paintings go are oil painted so they can all be wiped down with a damp rag.
  • Do you take custom orders?
    • I periodically take custom orders as I have time for them. Please feel free to message me for more information!
  • When can I expect my order?
    • A few factors go into when I ship orders. First is whether your order is dry or not. Hats can take up to a week to dry so obviously cannot be shipped until then. Also, I try to consolidate orders when possible so I may hold them for a few days so I can ship, for example, 10 at once instead of 1 every day. Nearly all orders ship within 5-10 business days of ordering and arrive shortly after that.
  • How often do you do launches?
    • Depending on how much time I have, current holidays, etc. I'm planning a minimum of 1 launch date the last Friday of each month and possibly adding in a second date if I'm able to get enough hats made.

The masters brush cleaner

This brush cleaner is a miracle worker. This will clean your brushes even when they are hard and crunchy with dried but but it also removes paint from hands, clothes, you name it. I've been using this for years to remove oil paint from my clothes.

At this point I buy all my colors in the 200ml but whether you paint a ton or just a little bit here or there, always get the biggest white you can. I go through at least 3-5 of these a year.

Lanzom Fedora

I've tried many different fedoras from different locations and these are the best I've found that are both uniform, fit well, and are a really good quality for the price.

Lisianthus Fedora

For the most part the same quality and price as the Lanzom fedora. There are color color/ belt variations and sometimes a slight price difference so I bounce between the 2 looking for specific colors and prices.

Graphite paper

These are the best inventions ever for an artist and if you've ever said "I can't draw" these are definitely for you. They are also wonderful for kids. Lay a piece of graphite paper on your blank paper or canvas, print off you picture and lay that on top then trace your picture with the stylus. It will transfer your picture onto your surface and boom its ready to paint (or color). The sheets can be reused many times as well.

Disposable Palette Paper

These make clean up so easy. Use it like you would a regular paint pallet but when you're done using it, just rip it off and throw it away. If you're using oils, keep it in the fridge or freezer in between painting to keep your paint wet for next time. I keep mine in the freezer and make sure I use every single inch of the paper before throwing it away to get extra use out of it.

H frame studio easel

I think one of the most important investments I've ever made as an artist was my easel. I love that the height and angles are adjustable with a spot to put my brushes. I clip a desk lamp onto the top and can spend hours working.

Linseed oil

I use this as a painting medium. It thins oil the oils without diluting the color and is absolutely a must have with you need very thin paint for tiny details.

Paint thinner

A basic oil painting necessity. Always get odorless! Also, did you know you can recycle paint thinner? pour a little bit into a baby food jar or any small GLASS jar. Use as normal. when done, pour into a second jar. the next day when you go to paint, the paint will settle to the bottom and you can gently pour the clean thinner back into the original jar.
